Ozone Forza 2 Harness Review
Model: Forza 2 ( Not the upgraded frame)
Hrs Flown: 20hrs
Longest Flight 4.5 hrs
Conditions: Windy and strong thermic Spring/Summer conditions
Glider : Phi Allegro and Zoom X2C
1.) The harness needs adjustment over a few flights to get the right pivot point of the foot plate and thigh support to get the right balance and support.
2.) The thigh support works very well. However, after 20 hours will need to be readjusted as the structure has settled in and minor adjustment will do great. I haven't done it but i know exactly what is needed.
3.) As mentioned by JC - The harness is absolutely perfect for flying, just that some people dont like flying in that position.
4.) Personally, I quiet liked the Flying position and so did a friend who flew the harness for similar hours and having upgraded from the Exoceat.
5.) You can definitely feel the difference in the wind speed when in a fully supine position, compared to sitting upright.
6.) For sure you will not see much below you or the terrain below. Need to stretch the neck for it to the sides. However the neck has perfect support at the back. Loved this support part - Not sure if it was intentional or its just my neck feeling grateful.
7.) Speedbar has moderate pressure: before this I have been flying with Bullet Bar always - I did not miss it at all - But I have to say that the foot definitely drags on the pod, hopefully wont punch a hole through it.
8.) Pod Material is thick and warm: I could fly at 5000 mtrs in hiking pants and still remained comfy on all days.
9.) the flight deck is a little small: holds good a flymaster + Phone 5" landscape mode + XCTracer mini. I am not sure if i need more space but i miss managing the angle of flight deck .
10.) Lots of pockets and storage.
11.) The leg straps did feel like they are rubbing into the thigh, again i would attribute to adjustment.
12.) Putting the harness on is a no brainer. However, the flight deck tends to get stuck below the waist strap after takeoff even if you have buckled it in place. Little annoying as you need to give it a nudge in the air after which it doesn't move.
13.) Very comfy back support. Thigh Support according to me is good as the harness is meant to be flown supine. I did not feel anything biting into the legs or cutting off blood circulation.
14.) i am 178cm weighing 89 Kilos: Flying L/M. It fit like a glove for the first 10 hours, after that needed adjustment as the foam started to settle. Don't think I would have fit into a medium frame.
15.) The fin inflation is great and air inlet works fine. harness feels balanced and dampens a lot of unnecessary feedback. Interestingly the harness gives nice pull/feedback at the hip level which made coring very comfortable.
16.) The Frame is built with heavy material and will last a long time. Great thing the fin and the pod can be replaced if damaged.
17.) Waiting to get the new version of the frame and hoping it's not very upright.
Cheers !

Update after 100hrs of flying: 70 hrs with the New Zoom X2C. You can read the review for Zoom X2C Paraglider Review – XC Wings
The duo is fantastic in the air, and as mentioned earlier the feedback that Forza 2 gives on the hips makes it a perfect match for the X2C to fly using weight shift. The Harness smoothens the glide and the feedback to quiet an extent. Flying close to the ridge lines give a good feeling of roll authority through weight shift if need be. Replaced the speedbar with Evengis 3 step speedbar. a quick review below.
The Speed bar application with the 2 liner C is even more smooth. However, the Ring guiding the the speedbar lines in the front are funny. And it did snap out of its place. need to be secured with a knot. not sure why it is the way it is.
The Clip that attaches the Front Deck to the Chest Strap is very flimsy. I have now tied it using waste lines so that it doesn't snap out of its place. Bad design.

Bullet Speed Bar XL vs Evengiis 3Step Speedbar
I use the Bullet speed bar on all my pod harnesses. Never liked the big step on top. Evengiis Speedbar was exactly wht i needed it to be. However, the material used is not of good quality at all if i compared to the price i pay for the Bullet bar and whati paid to Evengii. The speed bar Lines on Bullet are nylon and smooth adn work very well. I wish it was the same on the Evengiis bar. It lacks the finesse when compared to the Bullet. The footpegs are good, but the webbing used is dynema and not cool. Bullet bar is better any day.
